This is a lovely 1950's Volupte Asian animal design enamel powder and mirror compact in wonderful condition.

The piece measures approximately 3 inches square; and is a very heavy well made piece.

It opens to a clean and clear mirror, with no chips or cracks; as well as a covered powder compartment that is hallmarked with the Volupte name on the lid.

All hinges and closures work perfectly. Only some slight tarnish to the outside edges of the compact. No dents or dings.

Even the edges of this compact have pretty detailed enameling. It's a lovely piece to add to your collection, or to use for your loose powder.
